Soothing Fiber Formula

Short answer

We found no documented interaction between B-complex and Soothing fiber formula in the sources below. That isn't proof the combination is right for you: check each one's cautions, and ask your pharmacist if you take medication.

B-complex (active forms)

What it is: A mix of B vitamins in their active forms.

What the research says: B vitamins help turn food into energy and keep blood and nerve cells healthy; a supplement helps if your diet falls short.

Cautions

  • High-dose folate can hide a vitamin B12 deficiency.
  • Taking a lot of vitamin B6 for a year or more can cause nerve damage.
  • Niacin at 30 mg or more can cause flushing and itching.

Medicines to check

  • Methotrexate: folate can interfere with it
  • Anti-seizure medicines (folate and vitamin B6 notes)

Soothing fiber formula

What it is: A blend of plants rich in soothing fiber (mucilage): aloe, marshmallow root and slippery elm.

What the research says: A small study found a formula containing slippery elm eased constipation-type IBS symptoms. Small studies suggest aloe taken by mouth may lower blood sugar in diabetes.

Cautions

  • Oral aloe gel seems safe short term; aloe latex can cause cramps and diarrhea, and aloe leaf extracts have been linked to rare cases of hepatitis.

Medicines to check

  • Diabetes medicines: aloe may lower blood sugar

Balancing dosages across multiple different bottles is risky, inefficient, and expensive. Methyl B-Complex is already lab-dosed in our Mood Support Pack, and Soothing Fiber Formula is in our Gut Pack β€” either way, that’s one less bottle to manage.
